Life Skills Learning Center
Due to the Coronavirus, Life Skills program is currently closed for in-person learning. Daily remote learning activities are currently being offered to program participants.
The primary goal of Life Skills Learning Center is to teach a variety of skills, enabling program participants the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential in life. In order to achieve this goal we offer a wide variety of activities and training that reinforce basic life skills, community integration and functional skills.
Life Skills Learning Center provides:
- A functional based curriculum that presents choices, and offers each participant the opportunity of selection based on interest, needs and abilities.
- Diversity in multi-learning environments.
- Individual program plans based on client needs and abilities.
- A safe, clean environment where all are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity.
Blended Programming and Paid Work
Life Skills Learning Center offers paid vocational training for eligible participants who are work-ready. Individuals have the option of participating in paid work activities within the Life Skills facility on a limited basis or may attend ABLE's Work Services Program.
