Using work as a rehabilitative tool, ABLE Industries provides its workers the opportunity to improve in vocational, social and interpersonal skills. ABLE creates a work environment as normal as possible for its trainees who are assigned various jobs depending on their level of skill. ABLE trainees receive wages based on productivity and are also entitled to benefits as part of the normalization process.

In addition to work activity, ABLE Industries provides vocational evaluation, work adjustment, supported employment and competitive placement services. As ABLE trainees make progress and show potential in the agency's work center, they are given the opportunity to obtain employment in the community.
